LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS!






Lemons have an acid antiseptic properties which gives off a famous fresh scent. This

can make it a natural solution for your household chores. Try to save money by using

this fruit to spend less on the costly cleaning products.

Here are 10 lemon cleaning hacks everyone should know!

1. Shine & Sparkle. Lemons are a natural bleach which disinfects and cleans copper

& brass. Take half a lemon and sprinkle salt over it, then rub it over the metal. Wash

& simply clean

2. Get the Stain out. Load the laundry with white coloured clothing and Add ½ cup

lemon juice, then let the clothes dry in the sun.

3. Kill microwave smells. Take half a lemon and water, then fill a bowl that is heat-

resistant and zap for 5 minutes and no more smell!

4.  Freshener for the Vacuum. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice to the vacuum can

make the air smell fresh & clean!

5. Scum in the bathroom. A sponge and pour some lemon juice and wipe shower

doors to remove soap scum away

6. No more dust particles. 2 tablespoons lemon juice and mix 10 drops lemon oil.

Take a spray bottle and add a few drops of olive oil. Spray onto surfaces and wipe

with a cotton flannel cloth.

7. Polish wood.

-If it's unvarnished: Mix 2 teaspoons of lemon & olive oil. Apply to a soft cotton cloth.

Distribute evenly using wide strokes.

-If it's varnished: Take ½ cup of warm water and add a few drops of lemon. Spray

onto a slightly damp cotton cloth and wipe furniture.

8. Refresh cutting boards. If the plastic or wooding board has picked up odors, take

half a lemon and rub it over the surface of the board. Wash and clean.

9. Deodorize the garbage disposal. Discard lemon peels to create a citrusy scent

and to brighten up your garbage disposal. Do this once a month

10. Remove rust. Mix 2 tablespoons of salt and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to make a

rust removing paste.
